Description:

TEKsystems's financial client is seeking a QA tester with 2 years experience with ALM to support the Document Capture Utility team (DCU). DCU receives documents physically or electronically from the whole organization that are then indexed and stored to the repository to then get pushed to the workflow for business partners in the company. They’re going through a transformation in April. Have to move the work from them to a vendor in waves. As they prepare a batch process for the move, have to prep the documentation to hand over to the partners as they create their procedures. Put things into a Supplier Input Process Output Customer (SIPOC) template. This resource will be UAT testing any issues in connections between the systems. Make sure it’s storing to the repository as expected.

Day to day:

• Will see them go into Jira, pick up Testing Only tickets, ensure scripts are written and approved, execute testing of the scripts.

• Have production meetings to review what has been tested and hand over the word document to the production team to verify that the needed work has been done.

• Follows the once a month enterprise release calendar. May work a couple weekends in 2025 depending on how the 2025 release calendar is scheduled. Will be dedicated to the UAT projects so the experienced members of the team can handle the day to day.

Team size: 11 team members stateside, 3 testers offshore.

Job Description:

Develop a variety of system quality assurance testing initiatives for projects on software systems. Complete systems testing and create systems quality assurance testing strategies. Execute complex test plans and scripts to facilitate testing activities. Document and verify resolution of software and specification defects. Develop standards and procedures to determine release readiness and streamline testing process. Provide guidance, lead, and prioritize testing activities for projects. Work with teams to develop testing strategies and provide specific technical guidance on defects to developers. Lead implementation of complex initiatives impacting one or more lines of business. Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met. Work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Systems Quality Assurance and systems or application testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
