JOB SUMMARY This position has various responsibilities within the financial services (accounting) department. These include, but are not limited to, significant participation in the monthly closing process, various account reconciliations, monthly cost accruals, and preparation of management reports.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

· Prepare and submit daily sales report, margin report and all requested reporting for internal leadership

· Preparation of various schedules and journal entries to help ensure the financial statements are issued in a timely and accurate manner (within 5 working days from end of month)

· Post daily invoice transactions, research, and clear all system errors on a continuous basis

· Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts, including equipment inventory, fixed assets, and various accrual accounts for Controller review

· Prepare lease documentation for all rental and usage fleet equipment acquired to ensure optimum cash flow

· Prepare and reconcile sales and use tax filings

· Daily bank account cash reconciliation for 5 accounts

· Assist in physical inventories

· Assist with preparing schedules and documentation for annual audit

· Preparation of annual personal property tax returns as well as monthly sales and use tax returns

· Assist other Financial Services team members and leadership as directed

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting required

· 0-3 years of experience working in a Staff Accountant or similar role

· Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) preferred

· Self-motivated candidate who can build relationships cross-functionally to bring financially focused process improvements and efficiencies to internal departments

· Drives change using analysis and data to develop new processes internally

· Active problem solver who seeks out information, brings solutions to the table and is open to a ‘fail-forward’ mindset

· Collaborative with teammates and other internal Associates

· Actively seeks opportunities to learning new skills and processes, being a part of the conversation to drive change from a financial services perspective within the organization

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work in a high paced working environment with frequent interface with customers (internal and external) and vendors. Must be able to adapt to a busy office environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of information flow while always remaining professional. The employee is occasionally exposed to a machine shop environment and hazards from equipment movement and may be required to travel overnight.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee must regularly talk and hear, interfacing with customers by telephone using good articulation and voice control. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand for moderate amounts of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds when storing and moving record boxes for record retention or research. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
