ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is within Honeywell’s Corporate Business Unit and will work closely with Projects businesses across all the Honeywell businesses (Building Automation, Honeywell Connected Enterprise, Energy and Sustainability Solutions, Industrial Automation).

You will report directly to our VP for Global Engineering, and you’ll work out of our headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by transformations and organizational effectiveness initiatives for the Project Engineering function in partnership with the Business, HR and Financial organization.

As a Transformation Project Specialist / Analyst at Honeywell, your primary responsibility will be to provide support for project activities, as well as evaluate and analyze data and financial modeling. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the project footprint by understanding the location of project engineers. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the contribution of various productivity initiatives, such as automation. Another key aspect of your role will be to consolidate and analyze demand, capacity, billability, and P&L impact for labor SIOP. You will also be tasked with developing materials that can be used to present the status and progress of programs, as well as the performance of the project engineering organization. Lastly, you will create a skill assessment and repository system to effectively manage and assess the skills of the project engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a weekly and monthly MOS of KPI based dashboards to track performance and make strategic decisions, and AI driven automation as a key driver to optimize core GPE processes by partnering with Enterprise Data Warehouse team, AI Team and GPMO and GBE Analytics team to create Digital GPE capabilities.

  • Own monthly reporting MOS at HON/GBE/Project level in support of cash flow activities and to assess project engineering health and identify Root Cause and define Corrective and Preventive Actions to address systemic gaps in People/Process/Technology/Data.

  • Partner with project execution council to develop a program to codify GDM for project engineering.

  • Drive an external focus by identifying and integrating world class GPE work process transformation.

MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and SharePoint and Power BI

  • Knowledge of IT and financial systems (Sales Force, SAP, Cora, etc.).

WE VALUE

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Transformation Programs

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the leadership and functional ability to define and implement strategies.

  • Large population Management Experience and prior PMO experience

  • Experience in working in diverse projects, Matrix organization structure, with solid and dotted line reporting across global sites.

  • Knowledge of HR, LER, HR Legal and communications processes with respect to the requirements for developing and executing organizational development and repositioning projects.
