We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer – SDLC, AI and Automation to drive the adoption of low code/no code platforms and AI technologies within our development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps, promoting the use of low code platforms such as Power Platform, and facilitating AI adoption through tools like GitHub Copilot. This role requires a candidate with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and the development community. Familiarity with Agile processes and an understanding of how Agile teams work are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Oversee SDLC Processes:
Manage and optimize SDLC processes using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
Ensure best practices and standards are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
Promote Low Code/No Code Platforms:
Drive the adoption of low code platforms such as Power Platform.
Provide training, demos, and support to development teams to leverage these platforms effectively.
Track the quantitative and qualitative benefits of low code in the overall development process and adoption
Facilitate AI Adoption:
Encourage the use of AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency.
Integrate AI solutions into business applications and development workflows.
Maintain a central library of templates and how to guides for leveraging AI in the development process
Track the quantitative and qualitative benefits of AI in the overall development process
Stay abreast of technology advancements in AI and low code/no code
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Conduct presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase the benefits of low code, no code, and AI technologies.
Partner with 3 rd party consulting firms to ensure proper training and adoption of AI for technology work
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth implementation of new technologies.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues related to SDLC, low code platforms, and AI tools.
Agile Process Familiarity:
Understand and apply Agile methodologies to manage and deliver projects.
Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure alignment with Agile principles and practices.
In Office Schedule: This role will work in office 2-3 days per week.
The base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $139,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in managing SDLC processes using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience with low code platforms like Power Platform.
Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and their application in development.
Experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
Skills:
Established communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage with stakeholders and development teams effectively.
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of business applications and their integration with AI technologies.
Understanding of Agile team dynamics and practices.
Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.
Previous experience in a leadership or oversight role within a development team.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Certified, Microsoft Power Platform)
Skills
Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.
Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
Documentation Architecture and Design: Knowledge of documentation architecture and design; ability to build efficient processes, use appropriate tools and technique , and create complete documentation portfolios for software or technology products.
Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes and applications.
