About the role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to our industrial technology client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The purpose of this position is to lead individual, multi-disciplined corporate network server migration for clients with direct accountability for project delivery.

This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate should have a background in managing backend IT projects related to server migration with active directory and security software upgrades. The role requires on onsite presence at corporate campus 5 days/week near Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

What you’ll do

  • Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual Corporate Security infrastructure projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

  • Identify, integrate, and author key project artifacts (charter, RAID, project plan)

  • Track the progress of each project against goals, objectives approved budgets, and approved timelines through report status and variances.

  • Lead project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.

  • Assure the card access and audio/video systems are procured and installed completely to include engineering, supply, installation, programming, and commissioning.

  • Coordinate with the facilities team to create a control system management strategy in line with business objectives and technology lifecycle.

  • Ensure the maintenance and repairs of security audio/video and card access systems are maintained as determined by the manufacturer's recommended process.

  • Create and coordinate security system program plans by educating, informing, and influencing internal teams to provide the best client experience.

  • Drive transparency in day-to-day operations and create a collaborative partnership with the client.

  • Perform monthly and quarterly data reporting exercises, prepare detailed Key Performance Indicator Report to track trends, and report on progress toward client’s service support goals.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience in Computer Science/Engineering. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience, in Active Directory, security software system upgrades, managing large-scale IT, Data Center, Disaster Recovery, or Infrastructure projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with MS Project or other project management software is required.

  • Prior experience reading and understanding architectural, civil, electrical, & mechanical drawings.

  • Knowledge leases, contracts, and construction practices.
