Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer

Job Description

This position provides mechanical design services to support the production of construction drawings and specifications for a variety of projects. The role involves designing HVAC systems for both large and small projects, and requires direct interaction with architects and owners.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for large and small projects.

• Interact and work directly with architects and owners.

• Prepare various reports and meeting minutes.

• Produce design documents including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Essential Skills

• 5 plus years of experience in Mechanical Design including HVAC load calculations, air distribution systems design, equipment selection, shop drawing review, assessment of existing systems and facilities, and field observation and reporting.

• Competence in REVIT and AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical design expertise.

Work Environment

You will work in a collaborative environment, interacting with architects and project owners to produce high-quality design documents. The use of REVIT and AutoCAD is integral to the role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00

PTO, Health benefits, 401k, hybrid work days, half days friday, this is a salaried, full-time in office position, 40-hours per week

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Charlotte,NC.
