How will you make an impact?

Please note this role is an individual contributor role. Though this position is responsible for leading the global operation of our Direct to Patient (DtP) service offering. DtP offering is an exciting new service where clinical trial participants will be able to receive their required medications directly in their home, rather than at a hospital or clinical site! This position will serve as the operations subject matter authority for the service. As the SME, you will answer all customer que concerning the operation. You will also work with the internal operation to ensure that they are well equipped to execute protocols that have been awarded to Thermo Fisher by our clients. This includes set-up, accurate documentation, training, and support to ensure complete knowledge transfer and successful delivery. The DtP service is ever evolving. This role will also support the expansion of the service line through the generation of new insights, innovation, and ever-evolving processes.

What will you do?

  • Support client facing teams with the set-up of DtP protocols for CTD and ownership of the DtP operational processes.

  • Works with internal partners and vendors to understand technology requirements and work to implement the required integrations required to support the growth and service demand.

  • Coordinates with operational areas to ensure the business can support client service requests.

  • Ensures all legal/quality documentation is in place to support delivery of the required service to client.

  • Acting as subject matter authority in support of Direct to Patient, supporting our client base and business unit commercial team to grow the service offering.

  • Transfer of Protocol DtP knowledge to business operational team to execute.

  • Represent the business at client meetings and/or investigator meetings

  • Gains feedback from the business areas on process to ensure service levels are met and global process are followed and trained out optimally.

  • Maintain the highest possible level of knowledge of our business and that of our clients.

  • Inspire a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, commitment, integrity and client focused service

  • Enable effective rollout of training to the operational teams whom will support the service

  • Transfer of knowledge to the assigned Project Manager(s)

  • Travel to client sites or to FCS operations for F2F meetings (overnight stays and international may be required)

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 7+ years' experience in Supply Chain management and/or Transportation.

  • Knowledge of the Decentralized Clinical Trial space is required.

  • Direct to Patient experience, a plus.

  • Good understanding of GMP/GCP quality standards

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to a wide range of internal and external audiences.

  • Ability to understand clients' requirements and to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Consistent history of successfully developing and championing customer focused Protocol solutions

  • Significant knowledge of and experience in IRT Set-up

  • Good knowledge and understanding of DtP services

  • Experience successfully handling budgets and ensuring the delivery of services within agreed resources

  • Authority and credibility to work effectively in regulated market and establish positive and productive collaborations

  • Shown ability to operate strategically, with and the accountability for, and success in delivering customer focused projects

  • Shown leadership ability with evidence of developing a multi-disciplinary approach, leading staff, inspiring confidence, encouraging, motivating and influencing others

  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals as needed
