Our client is seeking a project accountant that has in depth experience within the construction industry located on the south side of Charlotte which would act similar to a bookkeeper background completing Accounts Payable tasks as well. AIA Billing and Quickbooks is a must. The role is on site with this smaller company. Benefits are included which includes PTO, Holidays, Medical, and 401K. work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects and enter vendors and estimates in Quickbooks

• Manage Accounts Payable by entering vendor invoices, payment schedules, and review statements

• Communicate with Vendors regarding payment schedules and receive payments from customers

• Manage preparation of monthly invoice pacakages for all billable projects

• Work with Project Managers by discussiong WIP reports on weekly basis and review with VP

• Perform Month-end and year-end close process including processing journal entries, account reconciliation and financial reporting

Skills

• AIA Billing (3 years of experience is required)

• QuickBooks (3 years of experience is required)

• Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is required)
