Our team builds and operates Microsoft's SAP platform, along with a portfolio of first-party and third-party applications and services and is leading work to create a blueprint for the industry to drive business results through SAP on Azure.
In this program management role, you will be responsible for all release specific initiatives. You will streamline the end-to-end experiences of Release as a function from the standpoint of tools, processes, and responsibilities. Making SAP releases in Microsoft best in class. You will be learning from and creating new industry best practices to transform how we release SAP within Microsoft. You will collaborate closely with our customers, partners, and engineers to design and deliver world class systems, processes, and experiences that help manage cost, quality, and enterprise scale workloads.

Strive to make SAP releases in Microsoft best in-class by streamlining the end-to-end experiences of Release as a function from the standpoint of tools, processes and responsibilities.
Collaborate with all SAP engineering teams and partners to ensure high quality, on time, compliant releases.
Engage with customers and business stakeholders to ensure releases are not disruptive to critical business experiences nor compromise quality of service.
Present to Senior Leadership teams on the progress made on Release efficiencies including delivering on the goals of more agile, high quality releases.
Develop and steward the release management process, along with establishing specific standards to govern the process.
Establish and communicate release expectations, milestones and release activity progress.
Identify critical success factors and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on release quality.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of Program Management experience.
The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
-Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
Experience in SAP.
Success in driving collaboration across organizational boundaries.
Passion for customers and delivering the right outcomes
Excellent communication skills that can provide clarity to audiences that include customers, peers and executive leadership.
Extensive organizational and planning skills, with experience building and executing tactical plans.
Experience with a metrics-driven mindset; ability to experiment, learn, and improve.
Experience in release management, change management role.
Project Management Certification (PMP) or related experience.
