Wells Fargo Product Owner (Business Execution Consultant) in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner (Business Execution Consultant) to join its Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Transformation team. This individual will become an expert in money movement products, policy/processes, and systems and help advise leadership and delivery/scrum teams to ensure solutions meet business goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Consult business leaders, brokerage channels and client representatives to consolidate and organize the details of Money Movement Transactions across the Brokerage, Private Banking and Trust businesses from an end-to-end perspective

  • Act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems

  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business

  • Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and require understanding of organizational goals, priorities, products, services, and technology and align with executable strategies and plans

  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience

  • Manage relationships and lead implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners

  • Assist with development and implementation of procedures, process mapping, and identification of upstream/downstream interactions and dependencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience gathering and documenting business requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes

  • 2+ years of Product Owner experience working with full stack development teams on end-to-end product development and implementation

  • 2+ years experience defining solution delivery and writing user stories to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies

  • Effective skills in facilitating meetings and requirements gathering sessions involving a large number of participants/stakeholders and driving toward desired outcomes within prescribed timeframes and scope, preferably in a financial services organization

  • 2+ years experience delivering products using Agile Methodology

  • 2+ years JIRA experience

  • Experience assessing the impact of new product initiatives on the delivery team environment

  • Experience analyzing risks and the impact of decisions on the product line, generating creative alternatives and understanding trade-offs

  • Experience identifying solutions that ensure enactment of appropriate controls

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and translate findings

  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions

  • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while managing tactical and strategic deliverables to meet timelines

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse functional groups (i.e., business and technology)
