Description

We are in search of a meticulous Paralegal with expertise in pre-litigation personal injury to join a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing client cases, communicating with clients and insurance adjusters, and preparing demand packages for attorney review. This role also involves summarizing medical records and handling a high volume of cases in a timely manner.

• Proactively communicate with clients to keep them updated on the progress of their case

• Provide accurate and consistent information to clients regarding potential issues with gaps in treatment, over and under-treatment, and other related matters

• Manage client cases, including identifying and confirming insurance coverages, communicating with adjusters, obtaining medical records and bills, confirming client information, lost wages, health insurance, and making medical referrals as needed

• Summarize medical records in a clear and concise manner

• Prepare demand packages for attorney review prior to submission to the insurance company

• Handle a high volume of cases, ensuring they move through the process in a timely manner, while providing exceptional client service

Requirements

• Personal injury experience highly desired

• Spanish bilingual a plus
