Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Charlotte, North Carolina

A large manufacturing plant located in Charlotte, NC is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics and Maintenance Electricians for Direct Hire placements.

Starting pay rate for Mechanics will be $30.43/hr. Starting pay rate for Electricians will be $35.34/hr.

Hours will be 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday or on a 8 days on, 6 days off schedule.

Qualified candidates must be comfortable working on large industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting control panels, conveyor systems, pumps, sensors, relays, circuits, and mixing equipment.

  • Diagnosing and maintaining the furnace and accessory equipment for forging the metal.

  • Major electrical troubleshooting including diagnosing faults with a multimeter, reading a schematic, and hooking up motors, doing fault analysis of circuits, installing sensors, and plc cabinets.

  • Minor fabrication of equipment including tack welding of small parts to assist mechanics.

  • Working with the engineering team to help with up fitting projects.

  • Troubleshoot the plc system and the sensory equipment.

  • Following all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and productive environment.
