Job Summary and Description:

The Leader, Human Resource Operations partners with the Human Resources and Diversity team and other internal customers to develop, enhance, and support human resources business processes, technology (Workday) and reporting.

Key Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

Human Resources Business Processes

Compensation

Oversee the staff compensation program to maintain a competitive market position.

  • Communicate compensation policies and strategy.

  • Manage job evaluation processes, promotions, and salary actions with Compensation Analyst and HR Advisory staff.

  • Manage the execution of annual compensation planning (base pay, incentive, promotions)

Benefits

  • Partner with the Manager, Benefits and Employee Experience to support program changes, execution and administration.

Human Resources Reporting

  • Support the planning, materials development, and execution of quarterly Human Resources and Diversity metrics.

  • Manage Human Resources Data Governance process/reporting.

  • Ad Hoc reporting and enhancements.

Technology Support

Partner with the HRIS team to provide oversight for HRIS systems and data management.

  • Utilize automation to streamline and improve necessary processes and improve accuracy and internal controls.

  • Ensure availability of data to provide management with information for analysis, reporting decision making.

  • Manage the execution of performance management and goal setting.

  • Provide support for annual benefits enrollment and compensation planning.

  • Ongoing support of recruiting business process, benefit transactions, onboarding, and provisioning.

  • Partner with HR, IT, Business and Functional leads to analyze needs, provide solutions, problem solve and implement solutions.

  • Creating complex HRIS reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

  • Support technology integrations with internal and external systems.

  • Create and maintaining process documentation.

  • Assist in training staff to utilize the system.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 10 years of progressive experience in HR, including administering compensation and benefits programs and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).

  • Proven project management skills, including building sponsorship, communications, and stakeholder management.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong computer skills including HRIS, Excel, and database applications.

  • Ability to coordinate and lead complex cross-functional projects given multiple competing priorities or perspectives.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical or financial information to a non-technical audience.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies.

  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Significant business and financial acumen and understanding of financial/expense management.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills and high professional standards for work quality.

  • Consultative skills: the ability to build strong partnerships and to influence without authority, confidently, effectively, and collaboratively.

  • Broad understanding of Human Resources processes and the technology needed to support processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment.

The salary range for this position is $118,750 USD to $147,000 USD annually.

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
