Job Title: Sr. Communications & Media Manager

Reports To:Americas Divisional Transition Leader (DTL)

Location:Americas – Time Zones: EST, CST & MST

JOB SUMMARY

  • We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and results-driven leader of communications and change management who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy that supports adoption of the changes required by a client project or initiative. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, and is passionate about leading and growing talent.

MAJOR TASKS

  • Develop global change management strategies and plans, including stakeholder analysis, communications, leadership alignment, change assessments, and training

  • Lead/facilitate meetings with clients to ensure an understanding of the current company culture, and jointly develop a change adoption roadmap and communications plan

  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs

  • Manage and coordinate a comprehensive training plan for all account team hires; work closely with workstream leaders to identify training needs and schedule

  • Creates and facilitates the execution of all communications deliverables in support of change management strategies

  • Ability to write storytelling messaging and content for internal and client-facing presentations

  • Writes content for RFP responses

  • Develop and publish weekly client-facing status report, soliciting and copy-editing content from all transition contributors

  • Support the Transition Leader with overall transition governance and management, as needed

  • Lead the Communications and Training team globally; drives standards processes related to this role and overall team

  • Lead team initiatives specific to communications and change management

  • Proactively build and manage relationships with key senior internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct supervisory responsibilities in this position. However, this role will serve as the global functional leader for communications and change management. Mentors and coaches team member to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

  • Bachelor's degree inCommunications, Marketing or similar.

  • Minimum6 - 8 years of relevant professional-level change management,communications and/or training experience

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong communication and presentation skills required

  • Must possess an aptitude for understanding and leveraging technology

  • Proven track record of managing change initiatives, as part of a team or independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, & OneNote)

  • Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams & SharePoint design and administration

  • Proficiency in basic graphic design and document layout

  • Superior Oral and Written Communication Skills (exceptionally proficient with the English language)

  • Flexible, Adaptable & Resourceful

  • Ability to Produce high-quality deliverables with limited instruction or oversight

  • Highly Creative with a Strong Attention to Detail

  • Ability to Multitask & Prioritize (manage tight deadlines)

  • Able to Turn a Concept into Reality

  • Fundamental Understanding of all Aspects of the Corporate Real Estate and FM Business

  • Thoughtful and Strategic Planning Capabilities

  • Ability to Form Strong Interpersonal Relationships with CBRE and Client Teams
