Job Function

  • Serve as administrative officer on investment management, individual retirement and custody accounts

  • Work with the Fifth Third Wealth Advisor to handle all aspects of client administration

  • Liaison with the Bank’s Personal Trust Group to gain a deep understanding of Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRAs), both Traditional and Roth

    Essential duties

Assist in onboarding of new clients to new account document prep, new account opening, asset transfer and coordination with outside custodians (Schwab and Fidelity)

Client Service: - Direct communication with clients, by both email and phone - Receive direct and indirect client requests - Resolve client service issues - Assist in client complaint resolution - Understand client documentation requirements

Coordinate with Middle Office on: account openings, sash transactions, and asset transfers

Sales and Service Activity: Actively utilize Life 360 and CRM to ensure relationship teams can always get a current view of each client’s financial situation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or minimum 3 years of client service experience

  • Knowledge of investment management strategies, markets, account types, basic estate planning principles and financial planning

  • Experience with client contact (CRM) systems, document repositories, and electronic workflow management tools

  • Basic understanding of portfolio management and trade order management systems, Charles River trading system is preferred.

  • Basic understanding of custodial systems. AMtrust, Charles Schwab, and Fidelity is preferred

  • Strong client experience skills, internal and external clients and the ability to work in team environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Some occasional travel may be required
