Prince Telecom is currently seeking entry level Fiber Splicers in Charlotte, NC to join our team to help connect America!
We provide paid training, full benefits, and a company vehicle.
Starting Pay: $18/hr
Job Type: Full-Time
What you will do:
Splice and connect underground fiber optic drop cabling related to a FTTH network deployment
Minor hand digging to locate buried splice enclosures
Use provided maps to locate vaults, splice enclosures and other points of interest within the fiber network
Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
Who we are looking for…
Minimum 18 years old
Authorized to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid standard driver's license required
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to comfortably stand, crouch, sit, bend, balance, climb, crawl, lift, hold, or stoop
Comfortable working in adverse weather (extreme heat, cold temperatures, wind, rain, snow, sleet, etc)
Able to lift, climb, and carry weight of up to 80lbs
