Accenture Ecosystem Supplier Enablement Associate Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

We Are

The Ecosystem Buyside Enablement function leads the commercial process for sourcing third party supplier services for Accenture Technology. This position works with Accenture’s client account teams supporting supplier selection and contracting where third party suppliers have been identified as a critical part of the overall client solution.

The Work

The Ecosystem Supplier Enablement Manager works across Accenture’s operating groups with Deal Shapers, Resale teams, and engagement teams in shaping deals and more specifically the Supplier components of these deals. The Ecosystem Supplier Manager negotiates with suppliers including: supplier selection and negotiation, ensuring supplier due diligence has been completed identify and assess supplier risks, and any mitigations addressed in supplier subcontracts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with Accenture client account teams, in shaping deals and more specifically the strategy in relation to 3rd Party Supplier services used in support of those deals

  • Actively participate in client proposal development, as required

  • Identify and mitigate operational and commercial risk associated with 3rd Party Supplier products, software & services

  • Undertake supplier due diligence and complete contract scoring

  • Review alternative options to supplier issues and recommends solutions

  • Develop and maintain a high quality, collaborative relationship across a range of global and local 3rd Party Suppliers

  • Work with wider Supplier Management team to identify the suppliers which can deliver the required products & services at the best price, and in compliance with the Terms and Conditions required by Accenture to support its business

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following:

  • IT 3rd Party Management

  • Proven ability to negotiate high value contracts and resolve complex issues with global 3rd party suppliers

  • Proven ability in supplier selection and Pricing constructs as part of client pursuits that include outsourced products, software & services

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if you have

  • Operations and Delivery of client solutions would be a plus

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure and Services categories

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
