Job Summary:

In a wide-ranging, executive role, the successful candidate possesses a proven track record of success in all aspects of retail operational excellence, incorporating category development, new product selection, digital and conventional marketing, promotions, loyalty, and design, all combined in a way that drives an enhanced consumer experience, with consistent execution, at scale.

Also, the successful candidate demonstrates the ability to build and evolve brand equity, ideally from a B2B, B2C, and B2A standpoint. Oversee both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy and implementation to drive mobile retail sales and margin Support strategy, implementation, and evaluation of new scalable retail programs

• Evaluate current programming for updates and identify areas of improvement

• Collaborate closely with data and analytics teams to gather, arrange, and deliver analysis

• Manage projects with multiple key stakeholders

• Work closely with digital team and key supplier partners

• Strategize programs from pilot to scale, plan and organize deliverables, required resources, timeline, and budget

• Collaborate across a matrixed organization including a diverse team of associates, suppliers and clients and retail operators

• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with cross-functional retail team, Compass sectors, resource teams and strategic partners

• Monitor the industry and competitive landscape. Analyzes internal and external data such as sales, sourcing, and pricing.

• Identify patterns and market trends to help refine product strategies.

• Achieve goals measured by KPIs

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, project management or related field preferred

• 5+ years professional experience in retail, foodservice or agency

• Business acumen to analyze category performance and make recommendations

• Experience with mobile/digital marketing and analysis

• Analytical skills and firm understanding of data sources, modeling, and executive level reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

• Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills

• Ability to travel

• Military Experience desirable
