Honeywell’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations and manufacturing environments collect millions of events per day and as a data driven company believe our data has great stories to tell. As such, we have established an ISC Analytics and Reporting unit, chartered to further Honeywell’s manufacturing automation, optimize ISC operations through automation and data analytics, model supply chain behavior, build recommendation systems, detect and combat manufacturing inefficiencies, digest messy natural language searches into actionable keyword strings and identify new growth opportunities.
As the Director, ISC Analytics COE you will oversee growth of the centralized analytics team within Honeywell ISC. You will develop process and technology standards to simplify reporting and decision making across the function. You will lead the ISC Analytics COE to develop cross-SBG strategy and implementation plan.
Leading analytics COE across all SBG’s to share best practices, align resources and develop standardized solutions
Establishing and implementing best practices for analytics opportunity intake, prioritization, execution & actionable insights delivery and adoption
Working across various enterprise functions to identify high value analytics opportunities that directly enable the business strategic priorities and Annual Operating Plan (AOP);
Ensuring alignment with the Honeywell Strategic Business Groups and Data Governance & Data Management groups.
Provides solutions for operations issues, investigate shortfalls in production assignments and participate in problem solving.
Partners with operations management on ISC projects, production processes, continuous improvement, safety and quality.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, often with competing priority levels.
Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly Integrated Supply Chain reporting for the Sr VP of ISC/Sr. Leadership team.
Create and deploy new scorecards in Tableau to support key business initiatives
Up to 25% travel
YOU MUST HAVE
Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status due to US export control laws
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or other technical or mathematical degree.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in big data analytics and reporting
Minimum 3 years of management experience in a data science or analytics role
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.
Proficiency with programming/analytics language (SQL, Python, R, SAS, C/C++, java)
Experience shaping an analytics community of practice or managing teams of Data Analysts and ISC Process automation activities
Demonstrated experience working with multi-terabyte-sized data sets
Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Spark, Hadoop, R, Python, Databricks, etc.
Strong expertise in data management and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI
Experience understanding supply chain master data, ERP’s, Logistics systems and MPS’s.
Innovative problem solver that has experience utilizing business processes, customer engagement and go to market techniques to drive value to customers.
Business acumen, with ability to draw clear connections between data modeling activities and business challenges/opportunities
Results-driven with a positive can-do attitude
Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills
Integrated Supply Chain process and data experience
Ability to work collaboratively with development/implementation staff through the design and build of new business processes and systems
