Mobile Communications America Director, FP&A in Charlotte, North Carolina

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support short-term and long-term business planning.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and provide insights on business performance.
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, such as revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow, and provide regular updates to management.
Drive the annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
Proven work experience as an impact athlete in FP&A or similar role
Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.
Proficient in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial planning software. Tableau is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take initiative and create concise and decision-supporting analysis is essential
High degree of integrity and honesty. Must maintain confidentiality at all times, as this position requires high level of responsibility regarding confidential information
M&A integration experience a plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
