Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Devops Engineer on behalf of a retail client in Charlotte, NC. The DevOps Engineer will support and champion devops practices across multiple teams, tech stacks, and software tools. Our ideal candidate enjoys supporting software development teams and creating meaningful tools and systems to empower our software development practices. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining various CI/CD pipelines, alerting and monitoring systems, and integrations with various software development adjacent tools. We need someone who can both communicate and collaborate with multiple teams and perform the detailed work of building reliable systems.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc. (Preferably ADO)

4+ years of experience configuring and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)

3+ years of experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and concepts, including Terraform and Ansible.

3+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS).

2+ years of experience managing System Observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, App Dynamics, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc)

2+ years of experience programming and scripting in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Shell, Golang, or PowerShell and proficiency in version control systems such as Git.

2+ years of experience administering Linux systems. (RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu)

Experience with code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. null
