Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role is within the publishing industry, focusing on subscription and customer service tasks. The workplace is a fast-paced environment where the primary function is to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries, both telephonic and via email, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

• Serve as a main point of contact for subscribers, managing their subscriptions and addressing any issues.

• Manage customer databases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

• Coordinate with periodical mailers and shippers, providing necessary data and ensuring timely shipments.

• Process, pack, and ship orders for merchandise associated with the Publishing House.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions as required.

• Perform various administrative tasks as required, ensuring smooth operation of the Publishing House.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and Database Management systems for data entry and record management.

• Handle both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.

• Work in a team-oriented environment, multitasking and managing time effectively under pressure and deadline demands. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Demonstrated ability in data entry and order entry

• Experience in a call center environment, handling both inbound and outbound calls

• Strong customer service skills, including experience in answering inbound calls

• Excellent email correspondence abilities

• Ability to provide exemplary customer service, resolving customer issues effectively

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of professionalism and a positive attitude

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
