Citizens Bank is seeking a VP level Relationship Manager to join its Private Equity Banking Group (“PEBG”). The team’s senior Relationship Managers oversee a portfolio private equity fund relationships of varying size and complexity. The PEBG team is the central contact for banking services and acts as a trusted advisor to client’s management team. The Relationship Management team is responsible for fund-level advisory and financing to private equity funds including originating, structuring and executing subscription lines for sponsors with assets under management in excess of $2 billion.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Support senior team members to call on target sponsors in person and develop deep relationships with key decision makers

  • Preparing pitch materials for client meetings and researching prospective funds

  • Performing financial modeling and using diligence findings to develop loan structuring options

  • Reviewing and understanding legal documentation

  • Participating in accounting, business and legal due diligence for both credit and underwriting approval processes and ongoing portfolio management

  • Interacting directly with senior management, business partners, and legal counsel

  • Assists in directing/managing junior resources during all facets of the job


  • 6+ years of relevant work experience preferred

  • Strong experience with marketing and business development


  • Bachelors Degree required

    Hours and Work Schedule

    Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
