EverBank Asset-Backed Finance Business Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Asset-Backed Finance

This role involves providing leadership and management to the Fund Finance platform, including helping set strategy, new product development, overseeing operations, technology, and portfolio management tools, and partnerships with key internal stakeholders who help support the ongoing operations of the Fund Finance business.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages several business verticals including portfolio management, database management, and loan operations.

  • Provides leadership, management. and mentoring of mid-level and junior bankers.

  • Contributes to creating a culture of innovation, compliance, customer focus, and technical excellence.

  • Interacts with senior management, credit, risk, and legal regarding sensitive client matters and requests.

  • Presents to and maintains an excellent relationship with bank regulators.

  • Manages credit administration and reporting for the business.

  • Helps set policies and procedures for the business and manages ongoing upkeep and execution of processes.

  • Coordinates with audit and various risk disciplines when engaging with the business.

  • Leads implementation and build-out of portfolio management systems.

  • Represents the bank at client and industry events and contributes to building the bank’s brand in the Fund Finance market.

  • Contributes to cross-business vertical initiatives, including recruiting, diversity, serving on bank committees, etc.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of corporate and investment banking business management experience

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgement decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Ability to manage large scale initiatives including cross-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

Pay Range $255,000 - $345,000
