Guidehouse Analyst - Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets (Loan Testing and Quality Control) in Charlotte, North Carolina

Responsibilities

  • As a loan testing and quality control Analyst on the BICM team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Test loans using State, Federal and Investor/Insurer originations guidelines;

  • Test loans using State, Federal and Investor/Insurer servicing guidelines;

  • Assist in quality control reviews for loans that have been tested by other testers;

  • Review client rebuttals for initial findings;

  • Escalate issues to manager that may require revised test procedures;

  • Escalate new issues found that are not included in current testing;

  • Contribute to comprehensive management reporting and ensure all identified defects are included in monthly reporting;

  • Assist with and review, development, documentation, and maintenance of testing procedures;

  • Continuously coach and mentor testers; and

  • Coordinate with manager to interface with client and handle account management issues including preparation of meeting agendas and meeting minutes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Loan Originations testing and QC for Federal, State and Investor/Insurer requirements, from application to post-closing;

  • 3+ years of HMDA and TRID Tolerance testing or QC;

  • 3+ years of experience in Loan Servicing testing and QC including both performing and default loan servicing (loss mitigation and foreclosure);

  • Experience in Bankruptcy filings during loan servicing a plus;

  • 1+ years experience with basic reporting and presentation of QC findings;

  • 3+ years experience with providing feedback to testers upon completion of the QC process;

  • Ability to multi-task, possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Ability to learn multiple loan originations and servicing systems quickly. Experience with Encompass, LSAMS, Loansphere, and Aacer a plus;

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; and

  • Possess a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and PowerPoint
