Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina. The job function primarily revolves around the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications and maintaining precise customer records. The industry is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring you to monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Record, process, and post remittances from customers into the accounting system

• Verify account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers

• Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries

• Research and apply unallocated cash

• Respond to both external and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner

• Prepare monthly GL reconciliations

• Carry out special projects/reports as assigned

• Perform various duties to assist the accounting team. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in handling Billing Functions

• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Accounts Receivables systems

• Demonstrated ability in Receivables processing

• Experience in managing Aged Receivables

• Proficiency in B2B collections

• Experience in Collections - Commercial

• Strong skills in Collections

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software is a must
