Job Description:

Robert Half is currently searching for a competent Accounts Receivable Specialist on behalf of our esteemed client. As an integral member of our client’s accounting and finance team, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will report directly to the Finance Manager and collaborate with the wider team to drive an effective and efficient accounts receivable operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the accounts receivable process including billing, collections, cash applications and account reconciliations.

• Prepare, verify, and process invoices accurately and timely under tight deadlines.

• Work with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing errors.

• Ensure prompt and regular follow up with delinquent accounts.

• Prepare weekly aging reports and provide insightful analysis on receivables trends.

• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end closing process.

• Support in implementing improved processes and productivity enhancements within the team.

• Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Manager.

  Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounts receivable experience is required.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

• Previous experience with ERP accounting software is preferred.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.

• Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and translate findings into financial forecasts.

• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and adhere to tight deadlines.
