+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Under the general supervision of the Director of Unemployment | | Insurance or designated supervisor, this is investigative work | | involving monthly reviews of randomly selected benefit claims which | | has been processed to ensure that customers receive timely service, | | benefits and internal of fraud activities. | | | | Work is performed in accordance -with standard departmental | | regulations, policies and procedures. The employee must have | | considerable knowledge of relevant policies, methods and procedures. | | Work is checked upon completion to ensure conformity. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Duties and Responsibilities: | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Reviews and verifies eligibility data in selected claims to determine | | accuracy, timely payment, improper payment and applicable benefits. | | Compiles a report of all written case notes and summary for each case | | reviewed. | | Prepares status reports of all errors, improper payments or | | deficiencies. | | Conducts work search verifications as required. | | Assists with the continuous improvement of services, programs, | | activities, materials, policies, and procedures. | | Performs other related work as assigned or required | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
