Our client, Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. This is a full time in office opportunity Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM.

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Kingston, RI

Pay Range: $18-$20/hr

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· At least two years’ experience in health care setting, required

· Knowledge of referral process and insurance companies, required

· Medical terminology knowledge, required

· Electronic Health Record experience, required

· CPR certification, required

· Recent experience as a certified Medical Assistant, required

· Phlebotomy certification and recent experience with lab draws, strongly preferred

· Medical Assistant certification from an accredited institution, required

· Experience working in a community health center, strongly preferred

· Experience with office medical procedures and treatments, required

· Strong computer skills, including the ability to work with medical software, required

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a wide variety of individuals and to achieve understanding and acceptance, required

· Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion, required

· Basic math and problem-solving skills, required

· Ability to: perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work in a team environment; adapt to performing multiple tasks; prioritize orders, required
