Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

1. Medication Dispensing:

• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.

-Measure count and package medications according to prescription orders.

-Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product

-Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.

-Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.

2. Inventory Management:

-Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.

3. Compliance and Regulations:

   -Adhere to all federal state and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

-Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

-Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• IN Pharmacy Technician License

• Fulfillment experience

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous pharmacy experience

• Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.

• Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.

• Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.

• Basic math reading and writing skills required.
