Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Security Reporting/Desktop Engineer. This position is located in RTP, NC but supports a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Manage large data sets and producing reports and visualizations for stakeholders/management

• Supports the design and implementation of desktop images and HW BIOS updates.

• Provides Tier 3 support for other EPA teams on end-user HW (desktops, laptops, etc), along with Windows Server Management responsibilities.

• Manages and deploys specialized SW and/or configurations for EPA end-users.

• Assists Enterprise Engineers with patching and updating EPA-approved applications.

• Coordinates with Tier 4 vendors as needed.

• Supports the development and publication of customer requested reports and datasets. This includes requirements gathering and understanding of underlying data.

• Coordinates with local stakeholders to customize activities at the local level.

Qualifications

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience managing large data sets, and producing reports and visualizations

• Tools experience required QLIK, SCCM/MECM, Belmanage, SQL, Flexera data Platform

• Experience as a team lead, including experience managing customer requests and expectations.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Suitability

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• ServiceNow

• Project management experience a plus

• Power BI

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $94,150.00 - USD $150,650.00 /Yr.
