Job Description:
Part-Time Security Guard
Location: Agsten Manor located in Charlotte, WV Schedule: 4 Hours/Week
Overview: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Security Guard to oversee the safety and security of our premises for 4 hours per week. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the area, preventing theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. This role requires alertness, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol the premises during assigned shifts, ensuring security protocols are followed.
Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper security and that they are locked or secure.
Respond to alarms or disturbances on-site, alerting authorities as needed.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, unusual occurrences, or safety hazards.
Provide customer service to visitors or employees, offering assistance when needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Write incident reports for any security breaches or concerns encountered during shifts.
Assist with emergency procedures, such as evacuations or lockdowns, if necessary.
Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement, fire services, or emergency personnel as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in security or related field preferred but not required.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
Schedule:
4 hours per week, with flexibility for shifts during weekdays.
