Regional Operations Manager

Job Title: Regional Operations Manager

Reports to: Executive Team

Travel and Hours: Travel among all markets/Overnight stays

Exempt position with varied hours

Summary:

The Regional Operations Manpower will lead overall management of multiple Manpower locations throughout the Tri-State area. As the Regional Operations Manager, you will lead, direct and oversee all daily operations and service within a pre-determined service area. In this key role, you will contribute to the formation of the business strategy and be responsible for executing on these strategies to enable continued growth of the business. This position plays an active role in building and strengthening client relationships and ensuring delivery of excellent customer service as well as fostering a culture of continuous process improvement. Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1) achieving profit results consistent with predetermined forecast/expectations, 2) effectively managing the recruitment, training, development and compensation of permanent staff, 3) implementing, monitoring and managing a consistent business development program within an assigned territory to achieve predetermined expectations 4) implementing, monitoring and managing a consistent recruiting plan to attract associates with various skills for our client staffing needs and 5) assist in implementing procedures, policies and practices that benefit the total franchise operation.

Successful candidates are self-motivated, career minded, maintain confidentiality and exert executive leadership skills. The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for franchise revenue, profit performance and adherence to company systems and compliance. The Regional Operations Manager will continually assess the needs of internal and external processes to best service our staff, candidates and clients. The best candidates will draw on relevant work experience, education and training to develop creative customer service, recruitment strategy, drive sales activity and how they have built a successful team.

Requirement for Consideration

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in a leadership role

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience - preferred in human resources, staffing, recruiting and/or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years sales management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to supervise employees consistently and effectively

  • Ability to manage remote employees successfully

  • Proven ability to execute on business development targets

  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

  • Strong list of professional references

  • Strong background in recruiting non-exempt and exempt positions
