DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International is looking for a NEPA Consultant to join our Charleston, WV office to work on NEPA Projects and related subjects.

The successful applicant should demonstrate: Experience preparing environmental documents in WV , including Categorical Exclusions (CEs), Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), and reviewing preliminary, final field, and office review plans. Experience with public involvement activities, including developing public meeting/involvement plans, and participating in public workshops/stakeholder meetings. Working knowledge of air/noise/surface water/cultural/natural/Socioeconomic resource investigations and applicability to permitting and related regulations. Oversee the preparation of reports and regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with environmental laws. Wetland/Stream delineations/CWA permitting experience desirable.

This position is NOT related to Human Health or Hazardous Materials Investigations.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS 8+ years of demonstrated experience working on engineering and environmental planning projects and related services in West Virginia. Proficient in MicroStation, Office 365/Adobe Pro/SharePoint/ArcMap/ Photoshop/Databases BS/BA in engineering, biology, forestry, natural/aquatic resources, mathematics.

COMPENSATION

The compensation range for this position is $82,326-$129,667 and will be dependent on the incoming candidate's skills and experience.
