Oracle Head of Finance Strategy, Healthcare in Charleston, West Virginia

Job Description

This leader will have the opportunity to expand their network by engaging with their peers across the country both in 1:1, and group settings by setting and communicating Oracle Health's Financial point-of-view with the goal of establishing Oracle's credibility within the market. They will present at conferences such as Beckers and HFMA, while overseeing the creation of related thought leadership pieces that may manifest as white papers, case studies, blogs, or other materials. This leader will leverage their mature network of contacts, and develop new executive-level client relationships, in order to help ensure their value realization, and in turn, co-participate in presentations and references.

Internally to Oracle, this resource is responsible for consulting to teams such as Sales, Consulting, Operations, Support, Marketing, Alliances, and Development, enabling them to effectively define and communicate the uniquely defensible value of Oracle's offerings. This resource will assist in the identification, definition, and prioritization of new financial and/or accounting opportunities that improve clients' ability to facilitate care delivery in new and exciting ways. They will work with their functional area counterparts in HR, Supply Chain, and the EHR to find and define opportunities to add value to healthcare providers via Strategic offerings that cross the silos of business and clinical operations.

The performance of this resource will be measured in 2 ways: top-down via their influence on Oracle Health's sales pipeline and win rates across all business and clinical functions (by successfully working alongside their teammates focused on respective functional areas), as well as bottom-up specifically within the pipeline and win rates of finance/accounting.


  • 8 + years working for a hospital/health system, or consulting

  • Deep industry experience/knowledge with Hospital industry

  • Deep functional knowledge in core financials & accounting

  • implementation experience - core finance Oracle Cloud a Plus

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience presenting at conferences such as Beckers or HFMA.

  • Ability to Travel as needed - up to 80%.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $105,000 to $185,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
