Sodexo Field Service Imaging Engineer 3 in Charleston, West Virginia

Unit Description

The Field Service Imaging Engineer III provides nationwide support of high-end imaging equipment. This includes installing, maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing MR and CT diagnostic imaging equipment at various clinical sites both locally and nationally. This position will provide extensive technical support to ISEs, FSEs and our greater sales and business development efforts.

  • An ability to operate well and manage in high stress, fast paced circumstances

  • Expertise in medical imaging service, repairs and preventative maintenance procedures

  • Proven success developing and sustaining relationships; team, customers, suppliers

  • Project management experience

  • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specific training and/or extensive experience withPhilips,Siemens and GE MR and CT scanners.

  • Multi-modality experience and training a plus

  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule

  • Competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products

Position Summary

Using the highest level of technical expertise, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate the full range of diagnostic imaging and/or therapeutic radiation equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solution development.

Key Duties

-Inspect, maintain, repair and calibrate equipment and systems

-Ensures regulatory compliance

-Develops staff by teaching and mentoring others

-Provides advanced support of equipment for direct patient care

-Interacts on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology based problems and solutions

-Solves organization-level customer service issues and complaints

-Preparing required documentation and reports

-Demonstrates a safety mindset

-Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and service

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Basic Functional Experience - 7 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training. Significant factory-level training of imaging equipment contributing to the effectiveness of the organization. Preferred CRES nationally
