We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Director of Physician Operations for our centers located in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. The candidate will mostly work remotely, but travel will be required to the listed states, most frequently Alabama and West Virginia.

The salary range for this position is $75000 - $80000 / year.

AlignMed Partners providers serve as clinical care partners to the entire center care team at our skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The AlignMed Partners team orchestrates care delivery while optimizing patient and resident outcomes.

Join the AlignMed Partners team as the Director of Physician Operations! In this key role, you will collaborate with AlignMed Partners Physicians to coordinate and assess provider performance, initiate and manage action plans, and determine provider training needs, as necessary. The Director of Physician Operations works closely with center leadership, regional vice presidents, and clinical services to ensure maximum effectiveness of AlignMed Partners providers in meeting the regional clinical and operational goals and objectives. You'll provide AlignMed Partners Physicians with communication and guidance of AlignMed Partners policies, services, census goals and systems throughout all AlignMed Partners practice locations. Assuring the placement of key physicians to ensure high quality physician services is also part of job responsibilities.

Position Highlights

• Position reports to the AlignMed Partners VP of Provider Operations.

• Lead the Provider Operations function within AlignMed Partners.

• Develop and implement AlignMed Partners business workflows.

• Organize and track AlignMed Partners performance on key business objectives such as provider productivity, nursing center expansion, provider engagement, and turnover.

• Detect and remediate AlignMed Partners operational issues.

• Identify and develop performance improvement solutions.

• Consolidate AlignMed Partners communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Operations, Finance or related field is required.

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience, specifically related to skilled nursing, managed care, or provider operations.

• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Demonstrated operational/project management success in previous roles is required.
