. In this position….

The Ford Pro Dealer Sales Manager is responsible for managing all commercial vehicle sales activity and performance results for the Commercial Vehicle Center (CVC) Dealer network in assigned regions, including the team of Sales Commercial Business Managers (CBM) and Commercial Business Specialists (CBS) that are assigned to CVC dealers.

You’ll be:

  • Managing Sales CBMs/CBS team in assigned regions, including all aspects of recruiting, training, onboarding, and performance management to ensure team success - Ford Pro Products, Services, Systems, Programs, Commercial Customer Relationships, and Industry Partners.

  • Managing and deliver Ford Pro Dealer sales metrics for vehicle sales, ICE and BEV, in CVC network.

  • Managing execution and compliance of CVC Program requirements and standards.

  • Driving growth of end to end Ford Pro Solutions with CVC dealers – Telematics, Charging, Software, Ford Pro Service, FIN Simple in conjunction with Ford Pro SMEs.

  • Managing production allocation process and ST999 stocking program for assigned regions.

  • Managing Competitive Price Allowance (CPA) fleet incentive programs for commercial customers.

  • Managing execution of Ford Pro training with CVC dealers.

  • Managing resolution of CVC Dealer related issues that are escalated from Ford Pro field team.

  • Interfacing and managing relationships with small/medium commercial customers.

  • Reviewing and identifying market opportunities to add new CVC dealers.

  • Managing sales events in assigned regions – Grass Roots, Customer/Dealer/Upfitter, Truck Clubs, etc.

  • Supporting major industry shows, trade shows and dealer events, including development of presentations – NTEA, ATD/NADA, Truck Clubs, 20 Group Mtgs, New Dealer Executive Conference, Upfitter Mtgs, etc.

  • Supporting strategy and tactical plans to evolve Ford Pro and Commercial Vehicle Center.

  • Supporting strategy on C&I plans, including Commercial Vehicle Season events/campaigns.

  • Supporting annual sales forecast and market share objectives.

  • Supporting development of Ford Pro training curriculum and execution plans.

  • Supporting Ford Pro Commercial Advisory Board Meetings.

  • Supporting National Dealer Council Ford Pro Commercial Sub- Committee Meetings.

You'll have:

  • 10+ years of automotive experience, retail and commercial vehicle sales

  • Extensive dealer contact and operations experience

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

  • Excellent dealer relations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strategic thinking and project management

  • Management level and supervisory experience

  • Willingness to travel – responsibility for dealer network across regions
