Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will be involved in the financial operations of our industry, ensuring the accuracy of invoices and other billing documents, maintaining customer account records, and addressing customer inquiries. This role is pivotal to our organization's financial health and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations

• Ensure the accuracy of billing data by regularly reviewing and correcting any errors

• Develop and distribute detailed billing documents, involving the calculation of costs, credit terms, shipping charges, discounts, and other relevant charges

• Keep accurate records of financial transactions, including purchases and services rendered, assisting in maintaining the general ledger

• Conduct bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and record maintenance, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial documents

• Generate necessary shipping labels and billing documents as part of the company's operational processes

• Proactively contact customers as needed to verify, obtain, or update account information, ensuring effective communication and customer service

• Handle other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software

• Experience with Oracle software

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience with SAP software

• Ability to handle Billing processes and procedures
