Roper St. Francis Healthcare Phlebotomist II-MRP in Charleston, South Carolina
Performs phlebotomy procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and client accounts; organizes blood collection work , performs outpatient registrations, processes blood specimens, and trains new employees and students.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One yea r phlebotomy experience required.
Licensure/Certification: Current healthcare certification required?Phlebotomy (ASCP or ASPT) preferred, but other certifications may be considered; Certified Medical Assistant, ect

Knowledge/SkiIIs: Must have knowledge of and ability to perform phlebotomy (school, externship, prior employment) Must have ability to use standard office equipment (PCs, telephones, faxes etc.). Must possess good communication and organization skills. Must be able to work efficiently under stressful conditions and time constraints.
Other: Must maintain strict confidentiality of work related information.
