Food Service Worker

PeopleReady of Charleston, SC is now hiring Food Service Workers! As a Food Service Worker, you will do a wide variety of activities in a cafeteria setting. This is an excellent longterm position at a smokefree campus. Free meals and paid parking are included!

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $16.25 / hour.

What you'll be doing as a Food Service Worker:

• Serve food in a busy cafeteria setting

• Setup food lines and cooking stations

• Package catering orders

• Prep ingredients

• Wash by hand or use automated dishwasher to clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans

• Clean kitchen and dining areas, take out trash, mop floors and wipe down the dining area

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) , Weekends

Job requirements:

• Food handling experience necessary

• Previous experience in food service helpful

• Able to lift up to 40lbs

• This is a smokefree campus

• Background check and drug screening required.
