Description

We are in search of a meticulous Data Engineer to join our team based in Charleston, SC. This key role will primarily focus on leading data analysis projects, implementing data standards, and providing valuable insights to stakeholders. You will be working in a dynamic environment where you will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead analytical projects in alignment with company objectives.

• Collaborate with executives and teams to provide analytical leadership.

• Implement data standards and deploy automation tools to ensure data integrity.

• Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL, and statistical methods to create reports and dashboards.

• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in machine learning and AI.

• Champion data quality and enforce data structure standards.

• Utilize Apache Spark, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, HDFS, AB Testing, Analytics, AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Python, and Tableau.

Requirements • Proficiency in database management and data processing

• Familiarity with Apache Spark and HDFS for large-scale data processing

• Understanding of EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in using Erwin Data for data modeling and database design

• Experience in conducting AB Testing and data analytics

• Knowledge of AWS Technologies for cloud-based data storage and processing

• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) for strategic decision making

• Ability to create and interpret Business Requirement Document for project management

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and data analysis

• Experience in using Tableau for data visualization and data reporting

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience in data engineering or a similar role is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
