Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a level 2 Accountant for a hospital system, sitting in Charleston, Florence, Columbia or Kershaw, SC. This Accountant will be responsible all accounting related to non-patient A/R, totaling 121 million/year. You will be responsible for journal entries, monthly reconciliation, month end close, and other related accounting tasks. This is an accrual-based environment. You will also be handling purchase service accruals for things like annual maintenance agreements, outsourced services, and other income producing services. You will also be responsible for sending out some invoices and the follow-up to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.

The ideal Accountant will have 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting role, specifically in an accrual-based accounting environment. You will bring advanced excel knowledge to this role and must be very comfortable within that program. You will also be working within axiom, workday, and office connect, but experience in those softwares is not required. A 4-year bachelors degree is required for this role.

This position requires onsite training (either onsite in Charleston, Florence, Kershaw or Columbia, SC). After proven proficiency and consistent productivity, this position has hybrid work model options.

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Related Field

-At least 3 years of Corporate accounting experience in an Accrual Based Environment

-Willing to come onsite 5-days a week to start (will transition to hybrid schedule at some point during contract once meeting productivity and working independently

-Advanced Excel Knowledge (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup)

-Experience with monthly income statement accruals and reconcilliation -Purchase Service Accruals Experience

-Healthcare Accounting Experience

-Any advanced degrees or certificates (Masters of Accountancy, MBA, CPA, etc.) null
