DiPiazza Machining Machinist in Charleroi, Pennsylvania
We are looking for Machinists. The position will include programming, set up and run. Most jobs average 3 parts or less. Experience preferred but willing to train someone who has minimual experience or is newly graduated from a trade school. Great clean work environment, steady daylight shift working 4 days - 10 hours/day. Optional overtime. 100% employer paid medical benefits including vision, dental & 401K. One week paid vacation after one year. Possible overtime as needed. $20-$30/hr depending on capabilites & experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
- Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Qualifications:
- Experience preferred but willing to train someone who has minimal experience or is newly graduated from a trade school
- Capable of performing setups and programming CNC Mills while working with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with machine tools and equipment
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be self motivated, good attitude and good work ethic
- Conventional milling, lathe work, and fabricating skills are a bonus but not a must
