We area a small financial business looking for the right person to help us grow. A Consumer Loan Specialist assists customers by listening to their financial needs and providing them with affordable financing plans and continued service.
Job Responsibilities
Assist current and new customers through the life cycle of their loan
Collect and verify customer information for loan application process
Present financial solutions based on customer needs
Educate customers on terms and conditions of loans
Present customers with optional insurance products
Manage the life cycle of the loan, including application processing, collection activities, and data entering.
Requirements
Education: some college or technical school courses in related field preferred
High School Diploma
1-2 years previous related experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good math skills with high degree of accuracy
- Must be able to interact professionally with public and other employees
- Basic computer skills and data entry including Microsoft word and excel
- Ability to organize work and determine priorities
- Self-motivated and efficient
- Detail oriented
