General Function:
The Administrative Assistant, HR Coordinator performs administrative duties for Grocery and Health and Beauty Care/Rx warehouses. They are also responsible for Human Resources duties such as running monthly reports, communications, filing, and assistance with coordination of company events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs administrative duties for various warehouse departments including typing, memorandums, scheduling, credits, budget information, sales records, inventory records, and equipment
Prepare detailed statistical reports, summaries, and presentations
Drafts and publishes communications involving employee recognition, events, promotions, updates, retirements, etc.
Runs weekly and monthly Human Resources reports and follows up with members of operations management to ensure completion of performance reviews.
Assists with various employee events and special projects as assigned
Assists with events such as the annual charity car show and other events as needed
Schedules meetings, processes mail, makes appointments, creates power points, graphs and charts for the Distribution Center
Assists in updating and maintaining the company’s HR database and filing systems Performs data entry for various weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Must be comfortable working on a computer and proficient with MS Word and Excel
At least one-year similar work experience or comparable education
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Visual requirements include the ability to see detail at 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with or without correction
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionallylifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Must have the ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
Net typing speed of at least 35 WPM is preferred

Working Conditions:
The duties of this position are performed in an office setting. There is frequent pressure tomeet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day
Financial Responsibility:
Responsible for accuracy of logbook and ensuring compliance
Equipment Used to Perform Job:
PC with word processing, spreadsheet, Power Point, Microsoft Office software, and e-mail, 10-key calculator, telephone, copier, fax, scanner and shredder

Has daily contact with customers, suppliers/vendors, general-public, community ortrade/professional organizations, and federal/state governmental or regulatory agencies
