System Engineer

RCS is seeking aSystem Engineerto centralize a set of tools ensures consistent compliance with classification standards that are configurable and aligned to central policy. Software products allow users to apply approved classification and control markings to their data. These tools are comprised of classification and control marking values derived from approved policy. Requires support in providing these mission critical desktop, web, and email classification tools, to the Partners, on multiple platforms.
This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.
What you will do:
Provide optimization, operations, and maintenance of the Tool Suite for all platforms.
Deliver capabilities as requested in accordance with approved working group requirements.
Apply approved requirements derived from policy and implement new functionality to products.
Architect all aspects of the tool suite development and test LAN to the cloud.
Develop systems architecture artifacts for all phases of tool suite architectures.
Assist in performing transition and implementation planning for the deployment of new capabilities for the Partners.
Develop the tool product suite for M365 in an unsecure and secure environment.
Develop and maintain Products for partner agencies on multiple networks.
Provide Tier 2/3 support, with onsite support during normal business hours (6:00 am to 6:00 pm EST) and on-call support during non-standard business hours.
Ensure system maintains a 1-hr Recovery Time Objective (RTO).
Required Qualifications/Education:
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
C reating system engineering documentation
Multiple programming and testing languages (e.g., Java-Script, TypeScript, .Net, JAVA, C, C++, HTML, and XML)
Managing and developing desktop and web software
Cloud development
Windows or Unix
Critical thinking and strong analytic skills that quickly resolve complex issues
Web development
Planning, coordinating, tracking, and executing multiple simultaneous tasks with competing priorities
Transforming policy into requirements
Development on multiple network domains
DevOps
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Expertise with financial systems
Managing and developing classification marking tools or software
Standard operational environment, including desktop, servers, and peripherals
Classification markings with Microsoft Office products, emails, and web development
