Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a Secret clearance to support EHS and our government customer in the DC Metro Area. This is a Remote opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead multiple software development teams.

  • Responsible for application performance, innovation and integration across internal and external applications.

  • Work cross functionally with stakeholders, QA, and support teams to deliver customer focused interfaces.

  • Manage technical projects or programs, working closely with subject matter experts, developers and other technical staff to develop and track release milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together. Develop a plan and schedule with well-defined milestones.

  • Own release schedules in our fast-paced environment.

  • Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and to the government customer; escalate issues as necessary.

  • Assess the quality of releases through monitoring of incoming bugs and code changes to identify quality issues and trends.

  • Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.

  • Evaluate business requirements and design secure technical solutions that balance business requirements with technical and cybersecurity requirements.

  • Present routinely to government management or at workshops on project progress and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field

  • Secret Clearance required.

  • A minimum of 8 years of work-related experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience

  • 3+ years of Agile experience leading software development teams

  • 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications using technologies like .NET, C#, JavaScript, and React

  • Experience using modern project management tools like Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance

  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure

  • Extensive knowledge of cloud productivity suites, including Microsoft’s Office 365 and Google G-Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Preferred experience in US Department of State software development projects

  • Demonstrated experience with the technical and conceptual environment of web development, especially with tools relevant to interface design, the creation of interactive web pages, database connections, interactivity, and the creation of customized graphic images

  • Training in the use of MS Project and MS Visio (required)

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
