What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is seeking a Manager Consultant with strong project management experience to support the Government PMO and lead a team implementing Treasury’s G-Invoicing Platform at a DOJ client. This person will work closely with the Government PMO lead to coordinate and successfully deliver on project milestones. Critical thinking, strategic direction, collaboration, and constant communication across and within teams are critical attributes and skills. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of project management including managing project planning, schedule, communications, risks, execution, and issues.

  • Set and continually manage project tasks while delegating and managing deliverables with team members.

  • Leading planning, development, and execution of project tasks/deliverables and leading team members while reviewing assignments promoting quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.

  • Monitor team performance and support team development.

  • Collaborate and be a trusted advisor to the government lead on completing project milestones and reporting to executive management.

  • Collaborate with and motivate team members to meet project goals.

  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with other teams and project stakeholders.

  • Prepare for and facilitate regular project management meetings.

  • Prepare and deliver appropriate and effective written and verbal executive-level communications.

  • Prepare and provide status reports and metrics for internal management including reporting on project milestones/deliverables, risks, and issues.

What You Will Need :

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • TEN (10) or more years of complex project management experience in Government programs, projects and/or activities.

  • TEN (10) or more years or more of managing all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk) for various types of projects.

  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • EIGHT (8) or more years of experience providing written and oral reports to management, customers and stakeholders regrading progress of projects.

  • Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Experience working directly with DOJ.

  • Experience working with interagency agreements and/or G-Invoicing.

  • Experience using CGI Momentum® and/or DOJ’s Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
