Leidos is looking for a Commercial Services Specialist (CSS) to be a part of a dynamic team responsible for providing network procurement services to include: service ordering, service maintenance, vendor payment coordination, and service termination. This position will require the CSS to support the full procurement lifecycle from receiving initial requirements from engineering teams through coordinating termination of vendor services. These services require day-to-day interaction with commercial IT vendors, technical project managers, network engineers, system engineers, contracts teams, and finance departments. The CSS is responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of procurement-related documentation in multiple customer proprietary tools, applications and databases and resolving data discrepancies and errors. In this role, the CSS will partner with customer management to develop procurement solutions, processes, and methodologies to resolve evolving procurement issues and challenges. This position requires a proactive self-starter who enjoys collaborating with team members and stakeholders. The CSS must be available and willing to be on-call to responded to commercial services issues that arise outside normal business hours for approximately 12 weeks per year.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Database Support
Independently enter, update and track the full procurement lifecycle for network services.
Enter, track and manage the details and status of vendor invoices and receipts using multiple customer proprietary tools, applications and databases.
Validate accuracy of database entries and status tracking.
Maintain strict accountability of high priority and time sensitive procurements deemed mission critical.
Support occasional database migration and improvement by explaining, reviewing and testing functionality.
Operations Maintenance
Coordinate network maintenance tickets and outage notifications.
Ensure continual service from providers.
Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve billing disputes or accounting issues.
Open trouble tickets and troubleshoot outages with vendors.
Create and enhance process improvements to better streamline procurement tracking and coordination efficiencies.
Actively contribute to the execution of procurement processes and strategies. Develop solutions to procurement problems and issues that require thorough analysis and understanding of available technical and financial services.
Vendor Services
Work with project manager, engineering teams, and external IT service teams to coordinate IT service requests.
Research and request quotes from external vendors and service providers.
Coordinate provider implementation and activation with multiple customer engineering teams.
Coordinate shipping and receiving of equipment to multiple customer and vendor locations.
Manage all service request from vendor negotiation through final invoice bill payment and account closure.
Perform internet research for companies with desired business offerings and build list of potential partners.
Required:
Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline and 8+ years related experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
Proven financial or contract management experience or networking experience.
Must have strong customer service skills and exceptional communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of or have the ability to learn financial operations of commercial vendors and high-level understanding of network services.
Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
Demonstrable organizational skills that highlight the ability to balance competing priorities to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Ability to learn quickly and accept tasking of increasing responsibility as necessary.
Ability to create, execute and document repeatable financial policies in a very dynamic environment.
Experience working independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.
Experience working in a team environment on multiple assignments simultaneously.
Ability to problem solve, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment where processes constantly evolve and there is always a need for new recommendations and intuitive thought processes.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
